Almost majority of the people know that the Cinema is the 7Th Art, and less know that Responsible Public Relations is the 8TH Art. And now I am talking about new Art, namely the 9th Art.

Whatever one is, does know, and possesses, his outfit, appearance, way of looking, walking, talking, shaking hand, standing, sitting, and, in a nutshell, his verbal and non-verbal communicative instruments are introducing and presenting him.

When interviewing professors of prestigious universities in the USA were asked, how long it takes for you to select candidates for postgraduate and Ph.D. courses, surprisingly answered "2-3 seconds!" And when they were requested to explain what they are appreciating during this very short span of time? They replied:        

"How they enter into the room, How their outfits are, How they walk, How they are standing in front of us, How they introduce themselves and the way they shake hands, Do they smile, How they sit and how they start talking about themselves and what kind of vocabulary they select."

Imagine that the futures of candidates are decided in so short term! So what criteria are dominating this unique selection? One should keep in mind that the all past records inter alia; all works, researches, papers, books, articles (If any) marks sheets, and all recommendations are studied in advance. "But what are left?" "We want to see themselves by our own eyes." They answered.

What happens when somebody looks at someone else for the first time? He starts to weigh him and bring about a unique picture of him in his mind. Though "Imagination" is imaginary, however, this picture is real. By looking at others we scan themselves from head/hat to shoes, and we allocate different points for every part of his appearance. More surprisingly we do scan them even before they talk, and when they begin talking, we start to evaluate their way of talking, tone and power of their voices, the words they select, and they degree of feeling attached to their voices. It is interesting to know that even when we speak with somebody on telephone, we start to scan his appearance and characters by appreciating his voice.

In addition, it is important to know that, after meeting us, others will decide, judge and talk for years about us according to their imaginations and the pictures they made by their first scan of us. Therefore if one is aware of these criteria, he definitely will behave more attentively to himself.

These socially vital elements are the core of Art the 9TH, and everybody who is eager to make his imaginary picture as best as possible in the mind of others, is welcome to acquire this new art.
